Dear family and friends,
Finally the long waited post has finally arrived. I am sorry that I took so long to write but I think as most of you guys know that writing blogs it's not my high point.
Most of you know also that I moved to Zambia,Africa about a month  ago and start working as a missionary, serving the Lord by serving the people here.
I am currently living with a missionary family that moved from South Africa here in ,Mazabuka,Zambia almost 3 years ago.
Since I arrived here Ilne and Carl Paalman helped my whit accommodation, explaining and teaching me about the Zambian culture.
For the past month I have been spending time with the children from the village, playing games and try to interact with them, to get to know them.
These wonderful children  are full of energy and also ready to listen( Gods word or any god advice's).They are seeking love, affection and  attention. However most important of all is knowing Christ their personal savior. Most of them are coming from christian background however I do not know if they are saved or not.

Our first meeting was a success despite the language barrier.

After our first meeting the children keep on coming and whit the help of a girl that works here we were able to set dates when we can meet and what we will be doing. In the picture bellow, we gathered and picked some straws which latter on became brooms.

It did not took long until the children saw that I don't have wrong intentions and they started getting attached  and multiple times happened that they would come at the place where I am stay and calling me to play or spend time with them. I cannot express my joy, how thankful I am that I have this amazing opportunity to be here, to spend few moments whit them, to hug or say random words in the local language-little things that bring smiles on their faces.

Big, small, all together No one is left behind. Age  does not matter as long as we have fun.

                        .

Visa?!! On the way!
With the help of this family, I started to put together all the paperwork needed  for a volunteer permit . Tomorrow( Thursday) I will go to Lusaka and apply for the permit. I do not know what the response will be but I trust that in the same way God brought me here, He will make this possible also.
In a week I will be moving down to Livingstone where I will be serving in an orphanage for few weeks. Please be praying for my time there to be a fruitful one and all the glory to be brought to God.

Prayer requests
Please be praying for :
-Visa process
- for the children to continue to be open and eager to know God.
-for my language study-
-for the Paalman's as they continue to minister God and to the people here
-health and His protection over me.

Blessings ,Mia.
